By now, many of you have seen or heard our new light rescue vehicle driving around the North Evans Fire District — it even made an appearance at Lake Shore Middle School’s Drug-Free Week event!

The North Evans Fire District recently purchased a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 equipped with a SpaceKap bed storage system. This five-passenger vehicle will be utilized for a variety of calls for service, with special capabilities for off-road responses, severe weather operations, power outages, pump details, and traffic control.

Designated Highland 7-1, this unit is outfitted with basement submersible pumps, generators, traffic control devices, and more to better serve our community.
