
Highland Engine #1 is a 2006 Ferrara Intruder Pumper. A 6 person cab, with 5 firefighters able to gear up with SCBAs. Until 2024, Highland 1 was the primary attack pumper, first due on all calls. H1 is now in a monthly rotation of engines.
It’s twin, North Evans 1 consists of the same cab structure with minor exterior layout differences.

Highland Engine #2 is a 2018 E-One Typhoon Pumper. A 8 person cab, with 5 firefighters able to gear up with SCBAs. H2 is now in a monthly rotation of engines.

Highland Rescue #7 is a 2007 Ferrara Intruder . A 8 person cab, with 5 firefighters able to gear up with SCBAs. Highland #7 is the North Evans Fire District Heavy Rescue.

Highland 7-1 is a 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500, a 5 person cab, equipped with traffic control devices, sump pumps, EMS house bag and more. This is the first time Highland has had a light rescue unit!

This is Highland 8, it is the North Evans Fire District EMS/Rehab Unit. It is a 2008 Chevrolet Express with a McCoy-Miller Type III, BLS Ambulance. This unit rolls on all EMS requests as well as Car Accidents and Fires. It is also part of our Mutual Aid Alarm as a “Rehab” Unit.

Highland UTV 1 is a 2019 Polaris Ranger; able to seat 4 firefighters with ability to carry a stokes basket if needed.
